Removal of the Old Driveway

If there's an existing driveway, we break it out and remove it so the new one starts from a clean, properly prepared base.

Site Preparation and Excavation

We excavate to the correct depth for the slab thickness and sub-base required. Our ticketed excavator operators handle this stage, and the level is checked before anything else proceeds.

Sub-Base Compaction

A properly compacted sub-base is what keeps a slab from settling or cracking over time. We prepare and compact the base material before formwork goes in.

Formwork and Edge Setting

Our team sets all formwork in-house. Clean, accurate edge setting determines the finished shape, levels and thickness of the driveway.

Reinforcement

We supply and place steel reinforcement to suit what the driveway needs to carry, whether that's the family car or heavy commercial vehicles.

Pour, Finish and Seal

We manage the concrete supply, pour and finish the surface in your chosen style, cut control joints to manage cracking, and seal the driveway if you've chosen sealing.

Curing and First Use

Light foot traffic is typically possible within 24 to 48 hours. We'll give you guidance specific to your driveway on when it's ready for cars.
